Lawrence "Larry" Guadagnoli, age 78, of 715 W. Fourth Street died May 13, 2007, at the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.
His body has been cremated. A graveside service will be Friday, May 18, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the Resthaven Cemetery, 801-19th Street in West Des Moines with Rev. Steve Brodersen officiating. Burial of his cremains will follow the service. There is no visitation.
Larry was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on November 24, 1928, the son of Sam and Margaret (Agnoli) Guadagnoli.
He married Mary Ann (McMahon) Todd in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 6, 1994.
Larry graduated from St. Benedictine High School in Cleveland in 1946.
He was a carpenter and owned a construction company in Ohio before moving to Des Moines in 1978 where he worked for Heartland Management and other contractors. He retired in 1996.
Larry enjoyed fishing, bowling, video games, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann of Boone; three sons, Larry Guadagnoli and wife, Jill of Carlisle, Paul Guadagnoli of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Peter Guadagnoli of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Michele Guadagnoli of Ocean Springs, Mississippi and Lisa Guadagnoli of Des Moines; three stepdaughters, Cindi Peterson and husband, Dave, Dawn Van Pelt and companion Leon Bradley, and Deb Shreve, all of Boone; seven grandchildren, Colin Guadagnoli of Long Beach, California, Paul Guadagnoli of Indianola, Larry Guadagnoli and David Guadagnoli, both of Carlisle, Ashley Peterson of Ames, and Jenna Van Pelt and Kayla Van Pelt, both of Boone.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Sally (Komperea) Guadagnoli.

Lester F. Schutrum, 90, of New Kensington, died Sunday, April 12, 2009, in Belair, after a short illness.
He was born Dec. 8, 1918, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Louis and Minnie (Tropf) Schutrum. He graduated from East Tech High School and went on to Fenn College, now Cleveland State University.
During World War II, he was in the 65th Battalion Communications Corps, stationed in Europe. Lester was a research engineer, working for ASHRAE in the heating and ventilating department. While there, he had many articles published and has a patent on solar panels.
He moved his family to New Kensington in 1961, working in the glass research department of PPG Industries, Creighton. He was married Aug. 10, 1946 to Elaine (Hummel) for 60 years before her death Aug. 29, 2006.
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Glause.
He was the father of Bruce R. (Jane) Schutrum, of Canton, Ohio, Beverly (Gene) Krinock, of New Kensington, and Luann E. (Jerry) Wilkinson, of Lexington, Ohio; grandfather of Christine (Matt) Gaston, of Oxford, N.C., Erin Schutrum (Anthony Paradise), of North Canton, Ohio, Jelena J., Joshua M. and Jennifer L. Krinock, of New Kensington, and Susan Shank, of Lexington, Ohio; and great-grandfather of Daniel E. "Big Boy Danny" Krinock, of New Kensington, and Justyn Paradise, of North Canton, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at GREENWOOD MEMORIAL PARK MAUSOLEUM, Lower Burrell, where services will be held at noon with the Rev. Dean Ward officiating.

Louis A. Corradi, Jr., age 80, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills. He was born on September 6, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the late Louis Albert and Valeria (Csutoras) Corradi.
Louis was employed out of IBEW Local 17 in Southfield. He enjoyed playing cards and watching football.
He is survived by three daughters, Angela Corradi of Panama City, Florida, Annette Reich of Clarkston and Nancy (Daniel) Snow of Rochester Hills; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one brother and his wife, Dan & Helen Corradi of Caro; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Corradi.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Reginald Courliss officiating.
Graveside services with military honors, provided by the Caro V.F.W. Post #4164 and the U.S. Navy, will follow at Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro.
The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:30 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Family Discretionary Fund.
